The main goal of XKKF (Precious Haida Words Foundation) is to utilize the Haida culture and language to offer innovative programs and ceremony in order to facilitate healing within our community and beyond.
XKKF (Precious Haida Words Foundation) offers a wide range of programs, including various Haida language courses, from beginner to advanced. On a local level we facilitate the Nana club which serves our youth while honoring elders, through language activities. We also offer collaborations within the language revitalization community, through our educational development efforts. Additionally, we create and participate in ceremonial collaborations in the same communities, with the goal to revitalize cultural protocol.
XKKF (Precious Haida Words Foundation) is funded through donations from individuals, corporations, and grants from foundations.
